Classic Negroni

Classic Negroni

First mixed in Florence, Italy, in 1919, at Caffè Casoni, this cocktail was born out of strengthening the Americano by adding gin, rather than the normal soda water.

This Classic Negroni Recipe is delicious, refreshing, and made with just 4 simple ingredients.

INGREDIENTS

FOR ONE COCKTAIL

  • 30 mL Original SIP Dry gin
  • 30 mL Campari
  • 30 mL Red Vermouth - Sweet or Semi-Sweet
  • 1 cup (250 mL) ice
  • 1 Orange Peel

For two cocktails just double up the ingredients.

DIRECTIONS

Add the gin, campari and Red Vermouth to the large cup of your cocktail shaker.
Add the ice to the shaker and stir.
Use the cocktail strainer to strain into a rocks glass over ice garnish with orange peel.
