The
Beginning.
Our name, SIP Distilling Co. is a nod to where it all began – Sipping Gin with our family and friends at a barbecue.
It all began when Caci and her partner discovered their love for distilling spirits in their small garage. After five years and numerous small batches, they decided to expand their passion into something larger, leading to the creation of SIP Distilling Co.
In addition to being self-taught, Caci pursued distilling courses to delve into various botanicals, techniques, and the chemistry involved in crafting high-quality spirits. In 2022, she acquired their first 100-litre column copper still. Since then, SIP Distilling Co. has garnered awards for their products and has established itself as a prominent name in the industry.

We’re excited to share some big news at SIP Distilling Co.
Our new distillery has officially opened in the heart of Takapuna, Auckland—complete with a state-of-the-art 400-litre still that allows us to craft even more exceptional small-batch spirits. Alongside our production space, we’ve launched a beautiful retail store where you can explore our full range, discover exclusive releases, and take a little SIP home with you.
We’re also expanding the experiences we offer. You can now join us for guided tastings, hands-on gin making workshops, and bespoke contract distilling services for those looking to create something truly unique. It’s a new chapter for SIP, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
