Event Cancellation & Postponement Policy

As of November 2025

Please ensure that you can attend the event you book, as cancellations or postponements, especially last-minute ones, significantly affect our business. However, we understand that unexpected situations can arise.

Refund Policy:

We do not provide refunds unless we cancel, change the location, or significantly alter the format of the event you are registered for. Please confirm your desire to attend an event before making a booking. 

Please Note: That we may cancel or reschedule your event if there are less that 2 attendees for your chosen event date. At this point we will notify you by email with reschedule dates.

Guide to Rescheduling Your Booking:

  • Visit our Tastings or Workshop bookings page and select the new date you'd like to attend, ensuring there are sufficient spots for you and your group.
  • Email sales@sipdistilling.co.nz with your preferred reschedule date as soon as possible.

Please note that a postponement fee will apply for changes made within 7 days of your event. Details are as follows:

Postponement Fees:

8 days or more before your event:

No fee for changing your event date. Please follow the Guide to rescheduling your booking above.

Thank you for providing ample notice; we truly appreciate it.

7 to 4 days (168 to 73 hours) before the event:

Notify us within this timeframe, and you can postpone to a new date for 20% of the advertised ticket price.

3 days (72 to 49 hours) before the event:

Inform us 3 to 2 days prior, and you can reschedule for 50% of the advertised ticket price at that time.

Less than 2 days (48 to 0 hours) before the event:

Cancellations within 48 hours of the event and no-shows are not eligible for rescheduling, and no refunds will be issued.

If you inform us at least 8 days before your scheduled event, you can postpone without charge.
