Create Your Own Signature Gin

The hands-on experience begins with exploring our extensive selection of premium botanicals, including juniper, citrus peels, florals, spices, and unique flavour accents. You’ll design a gin recipe that reflects your personal taste, whether that’s bright and citrus-forward, soft and floral, or bold and spice-led, with guidance from our distilling team.

Many guests are inspired by flavours from our shimmer gin range, which showcases how creativity and balance come together in modern New Zealand gin.

Using your own small copper alembic still, you’ll then distil your gin, learning how alcohol vapour captures flavour and aroma throughout the process. Each step is explained clearly, making the experience both educational and enjoyable.

Bottle, Label & Take Home Your Gin

Once distillation is complete, you’ll bottle and label your own 700ml bottle of custom gin to take home. Many guests choose to name their gin, adding a personal touch to a spirit that is entirely their own. You leave not only with a premium gin, but with a meaningful keepsake from the experience.
